Dispenser Robot

Overview

One of my early projects supported the design of a manufacturing station for a new DCDC converter production line. The project featured a gantry robot with a dispenser that accurately applies insulating paste at designated points.

Key Highlights

• Designed an entire robot station, including the housing, and ensured seamless integration with the production line using PTC Creo.
• Developed detailed technical specifications and requests for custom components.
• Programmed and optimized the complete insulating paste injection process to enhance efficiency.

Results

This project directly reduced manufacturing time of the DCDC converters and slashed production costs. In addition the dispenser robot was able to apply the insulating paste with high precision and reliable, which was crucial for the quality of the final product.
