Projects

Here are some of the meaningful projects I've worked on throughout my academic and professional journey. Each represents a unique challenge and demonstrates my skills in different areas of robotics and engineering.

Template-to-Real Image Segmentation

TRIS

2025

A transformer based model that uses rendered templates from CAD models to extract a three-dimensional feature representation, enabling precise object segmentation in real-world images.

Computer Vision Transformer DLR
MagDrop4 Project

MagDrop4

2024

MagDrop4 is an autonomous Connect4-playing machine that competes on a physical board. It uses IR sensors to detect human moves, features smart game piece storage, and executes moves via an electromagnet on a linear rail. Its AI, powered by Minimax with alpha-beta pruning, selects optimal moves.

WALT Project

WALT

2024

An autonomous wheeled quadruped robot that navigates, avoids obstacles, and climbs stairs in a controlled corridor environment by integrating advanced perception, real-time path planning, and hybrid locomotion that switches between driving and walking/climbing modes.

Locomotion Computer Vision Mechanical Design UC Berkeley
AREA Project

AREA

2023

A landing gear system for integrating a battery-hydrogen hybrid system into an intermeshing-rotor helicopter UAV for high-altitude missions. The design involved comprehensive requirements analysis, CAD modeling in CATIA V5, and FEM-based optimization to ensure a compact, lightweight structure free of resonance issues.

FEM Mechanical Design Simulation TUM
Dispener Robot Project

Dispenser Robot

2023

One of my early projects supported the design of a manufacturing station for a new DCDC converter production line. The project featured a gantry robot with a dispenser that accurately applies insulating paste at designated points.
